AIC File Recovery

AIC File Recovery is a free file recovery software with an ability to recover hidden, archived, compressed and even encrypted files from FAT32 and NTFS volumes. It can recover files from your hard drive, external drive, and SD/Memory card.

To get started, select a drive to recover data from and hit the Find Deleted Files button.

This will display a list of files that are recoverable. Select file(s) to restore and specify a directory from the To This Directory option (if you do no wish to restore it to the default directory) and hit Recover Selected Files (there is a small typo in application button spelling).

The data will be immediately recovered to your specified or default destination (according to the selected option).

Unlike Undelete 360, this application recovers more recent documents and therefore is less useful in case you are looking for very old files. AIC File Recovery also does not provide a filter to select a date or any other criteria for recovering files. It works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, our testing was done on Windows 7 64-bit system.
